Our Sundays start with Sunday school at 9:30am for those who are interested in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
The regular Sunday service starts at 10:30am with praise and worship and usually runs for about two hours. Occasionally there may be activities immediately following the service; this will be posted in the church bulletin.
We also provide a staffed nursery during the Sunday morning service for children between 0-4 years.
Sunday evening service starts at 6:00pm, with a broader focus on teaching and biblical truth, and a more relaxed environment.
You are welcome to visit any of our services!
Kids, Youth and Families
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” For this reason we desire to provide ministries to children of all ages within our church in an atmosphere of security and godliness.
Children’s Church (K-Grade 6)
Our Children’s Church is an extension of the adult service geared to a younger audience. It is based on a similar format as the adult service including prayer, offering, object lessons, and life application stories from the Bible. We also offer a light snack, as well as games and special surprises as part of the ministry. It is conducted downstairs after the worship service.
Nursery Service (0-4)
We provide a nursery and toddler room for all of our services. We have caring and qualified volunteers who provide a safe and secure atmosphere for our little ones here at KVAG. Our facilities are maintained and modern, including:
- Closed circuit TV
- Airing the adult worship service in progress
- A private nursing room
- A special recreation area for the toddlers, and
- All necessary items to keep our children clean and comfortable.
Our Women’s Ministry group is designed to provide women a place to grow spiritually and relationally and a place where they can use their God given talents. It also provides opportunities to share God’s love in practical with the unsaved, the hurting, and the needy within our community. Special speakers and events are just a part of what the Women’s Ministry has to offer. The women of Kennebec Valley Assembly invite you to attend one of their monthly meetings and discover why many women are returning!
The men of Kennebec Valley Assembly of God meet monthly for a special time of food and fellowship. These gatherings are open to all the men in our community and are designed to enhance relationships, gain new friendships, and encourage our men to become the godly influence and leaders that God wants them to be. You’ll enjoy the atmosphere, and the good food!
Bible Quiz is a discipleship ministry where children and teenagers test their knowledge of the bible.
From early fall to mid-winter, kids from all over Maine meet every month to compete in the North New England district and see which team scores the highest in the knowledge and understanding of biblical truth.
Kennebec Valley Assembly of God has been participating in this for over 10 years.
- Junior Bible Quiz is for children in grades 1-6.
- Teen Bible Quiz is for children in grades 7-12.

We are proud to support missionaries all over the world, from South America to Africa to Japan; and our burden is for reaching those who have never heard of the gospel.
He said to them: Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation…
International Evangelism Outreach, Tanzania
Under the leadership of Bishop Eliudi Issangya, the International Evangelism Outreach bible school in Sakila, Tanzania, has grown from a single farm to a school with 14 acres and several buildings for dormitories and classes.
Graduates from the school are using their training to spread the gospel over Tanzania and into the neighboring countries, including South Africa, Rwanda and Congo.
Since its start in 1983, over 6000 graduates have been sent out, starting over 1500 churches.
Kennebec Valley Assembly of God is proud to be a part of this and Bishop Eliudi is a regular guest speaker in our church, sharing the news from his country and the projects they are working on.
We support a number of missionaries throughout the world who are working within their communities to spread the gospel, establish churches and bible colleges.
